Orchestral Zoot Suit Screening

Please join us this May 8 and 9 for for a movie screening of Luis Valdez’s Zoot Suit accompanied by a live orchestra. The event is being produced by Teatro Caló, a UCSB organization dedicated to uplifting traditional and new work by Latino/Chicano artists in a variety of mediums mainly theatre, film, and public community events. In partnership with the Music Department, with additional support from the Global Latinidades Center and Isla Vista Arts, the group is excited to produce its 3rd annual Zoot Suit production. 

The event will take place at the UCSB Lotte Lehmann Concert Hall. The event is open to the public- free admission! Capacity is limited to the first 450 people. Event organizers are hosting a public info session over Zoom for additional community partners who may be interested in reserving their tickets.
