I am currently a UC President's postdoctoral fellow at UC Santa Barbara. I am on the advisory board of the Global Latinidades Center and I am also a member of the Central American Studies Working Group at UCSB. My research focuses on the political-economy of forced international migration from Guatemala, race, and labor. I received my Ph.D. in Ethnic Studies at UC Riverside.
