In 2024, Ted Giardello graduated with his B.A. in English from UC Santa Barbara, and secured five full years of support to pursue his Ph.D. in Sociology at New York University. Continuing his work in Global Latinidades, Ted is an Editorial Assistant of a multi-volume anthology on Latinx Marxism, co-edited by Jaime Gonzalez, Ben Olguín, and Jennifer Ponce de Leon.
For the 2024-2025 academic year, James Nate Nichols, a Comparative Literature PhD candidate, has renewed his contract with Paris 8 University Vincennes-Saint-Denis where he teaches English composition and American literary and cultural studies. As a candidate, he is also writing his dissertation while expanding the field of Global Latinidades.
Finally, Somak Mukherjee completed his PhD in English from UC Santa Barbara. He is now a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Department of Modern German Literature and a Member of the College of Fellows at the University of Tubingen in Germany.
