Irene Zugasti Hervás is a political scientist and journalist. She was part of the Ministry of Equality from 2019 to 2023 and currently works as a Gender Politics Consultant under the scope of cultural management in the city of Madrid. She is the author of the book #SeAcabo (Revista Contexto SL, 2023), and she also writes regularly for El Salto, elDiario.es, and Ctxt. Irene was a presenter in the roundtable "New media and ways of communicating: counterpowercritiques and paradigms across genres" during the Day-Long Event Españas Globales at Ateneo La Maliciosa.
