Sheilah Garland-Olaniran of Chicago, IL, hails from Flint, MI, and has been a lifelong fighter for a redefinition of freedom and democracy in this country.  Sheilah is retired after 15 years working as an organizer, political organizer, and lobbyist for California Nurses Association/ National Nurses United. She currently belongs to the Southeast Side Environmental Task Force (SETF), is a Coordinating Committee member with the IL Poor People’s Campaign; National Call for a Moral Revival, and is a member of the Justice Party Steering Board.
