Madeline Peng Miller worked creating original artwork for book publications of Violentologies, funded by the Global Latinidades Project. She graduated from UCSB's art department with high honors in 2021 and is currently working for LA-based fine artist, Umar Rashid, as his studio manager and painting assistant. Based in the San Fernando Valley, Madeline creates her own work painting, illustrating, and creating video projects. At UCSB, Madeline spent much of her time illustrating for the campus radio station, KCSB-FM, and the literary arts magazine, The Catalyst. She plans to continue illustrating, both freelance and her own work, as well as painting, printmaking, and animating.
