Vanna Loughlin graduated Magna Cum Laude with a degree in English, and emphasis in Creative Writing, in 2019. While at UCSB Vanna was an Arnhold Scholar and through the Global Latinidades Project's Grants-in-Aid program, Vanna traveled to southern Luzon, Philippines to interview family members and elders for their senior thesis, "The Breast of WOMountAiN: Philosophies and Ontologies of Oral Bikolnon Motherlores."
