Hello, I'm Fiorella! Currently in my fourth year at Duke University. I'm pursuing a dual major in Biology and Global Health, complemented by a minor in Latin American Studies. My passion for social justice runs deep. At Duke, I've been actively involved in a meaningful project centered on preserving the legacies of Durham's activists. Through the meticulous collection of oral histories, we're ensuring these stories find a permanent home at Duke University Libraries. Volunteering holds a special place in my heart, particularly when it involves engaging with Durham's Latinx community. With GANO, I contribute to providing free ESL classes and organizing social and educational events. I’m excited to be back in Madrid this summer and thrilled at the prospect of collaborating with a diverse array of activists and artists. I'm particularly keen on delving into grassroots advocacy firsthand and exploring its integration with creative modes of documentation, such as through art or video.
