This is Jalen Jackson, calling from Dallas, Texas. Jalen is a sophomore biology major at Texas Southern University's Thomas F. Freeman Honors College in Houston, Texas. At his university, he is an active member of the Student Government Association, a Residential Assistant, and much more. Jalen mentions that this is his first internship, and he is excited to meet new people, learn more and gain knowledge about the AfroLatinidades Institute.
